You Will Have To Do Some Training Before You Get In The Plane

You cannot just show up to a skydiving center and expect to be jumping out of the airplane thirty minutes later. If this is your first time skydiving, you will have to receive training before you are even allowed on the plane, so make sure you add a few hours to your schedule for training before your jump.

First, the center you are at will go over all of the risks associated with skydiving so that you know what you are getting into. Next, they will go through what to wear and what you need to do when you are in the sky. They may even have you practice what you need to do while in the air. Finally, they will help you find the right equipment and get dressed properly for your skydive. 

You Need To Wear The Right Clothing

If you are not wearing the right clothing, the skydiving center you go to may turn you away and ask you to come back at a later date. 

You need to wear clothing that is not really loose and will not flap around when you are up in the air. However, you also need to make sure that your clothes are not too tight. You don't want your clothing to restrict your movement. 

You should wear tennis shoes or running shoes. You need to wear shoes that you can tighten and secure to your feet. You don't want your shoes to fly off when you are skydiving. Tennis shoes work best because they stay securely on your feet and will provide you with cushion and traction when you land. 

You Need To Be In Good Health

Skydiving comes with risks, and most skydiving centers will not let you dive if you are currently sick or ill. If you have a condition that makes your heart weak, they will also probably not let you go skydiving.

Additionally, many skydiving centers have weight limits in place as well. These limits are in place because your parachute can only support so much weight and needs to slow you down at the right rate so that you land safely. 

If you want to go skydiving, make sure that you are in good health, wear comfortable clothes that fit well, and add extra time into your day for training during your first skydiving adventure.
